Rack or similar at least and olympic bar with weights and a decent bench. A few bumbells to start with...and build what youve got up. Home gym equipment is expensive.

This is pretty much what I have at the moment in my garage...and I can do pretty much just about everything.

What cage is that toxic? I'm just about to order a Bodycraft F430 that looks quite simillar with lat/low pulley (mainly 'cos it matches the bench i have that looks a bit like your also, a bodycraft F602), though your garage is a bit larger than mine and a lot tidier!! :)

Christ, nearly had a heart attack when i saw the price of £1600, for a power rack?? Then read that it actually included all the rest of the kit with it (bench, weights, lat/low pulley etc etc) so not too bad a deal for a commercial grade set up, after a bit of haggling to get the price down that is!

We'll have to set up a thread like the one in home cinema/hifi sub forum titled 'Show us your home gyms!'

It was only £1350 when I bought in October/November...inflation:rolleyes:

and thats including a 140Kg barbell set, floor matting and I got them to throw in a new EZ curl bar for free also free delivery. So not too bad for quality gear.
I wouldnt be spending 1600 now on that set...i would have gone for something cheaper if it was that price.

Well, just bought:

http://www.powerhouse-fitness.co.uk/bodycraft-f430-power-rack.php

But not for the price advertised! Also got an oly weight tree to tidy up the discs from the walls/floor. It shall be joining:

http://www.powerhouse-fitness.co.uk/vision-x1500-elliptical-with-deluxe-console.php

along with punch bag/speedball, plenty of matting and the sky telly (only got a 15" screen in there at the moment, might move one of the bigger telly's in there later for some MTV/sports watching) and ipod station.

Originally thought i could get away with just the spotter catchers for barbell work, but they aren't quite tall enough. I suppose i'll need to post a piccy when it's all done, arrives next week.
