have the lights going up rather than down, nothing worse than doing an exercises and getting a light right in your eye!

Urgh, its the same playing Badminton in doors, thats hell, countless times i've lost the shuttle whilst its in the light only to have me blind and it drop on my head :(. Its not fun having light in your eyes whilst doing anything!

my home gym consists of:

marcy squat rack
spotter catchers
marcy adjustable bench
hi lo pulley
200kg olympic weights
6ft BB (limited space)
dumbbells
chin up bar

I can do pretty much everything i need to with that.

i'd love a power rack but don't have the space or money at the mo.

Got myself a power cage I built from scaffolding. Seems to hold up very well, although I'm not really able to squat serious weight yet because I'm puny and weak. My bench is a cheap york job that shakes all over the place and really could do with replacing. The scaffolding doesn't look as good as a proper power rack. I can imagine changing the position of the bars gets annoying if I was using it to spot for my bench press.

I would like to retro fit a pulley system to my rack in the future but thinking about it a cheap power cage may have been less hassle.
