just a question, can you get seperate insurance for tools and tool boxes in your garage. when i was in the trade i just insured my workshop with trade insurance, but now im retired im at home so the tools etc are here with me.
i know that if the unforseen happened i would likely be short on monies to replace much of them.
i had a customer who was telling me that when his home was burgled (whilst away) the insurance paid for majority of household items ,but the garage he got paid out on virtually one of everything.
ie 1 spade
1 shovel
1 rake etc and he lost a lot of power and garden tools.
i look at my snap on cabinets and my de walt tools and think , byebye if anything was to happen. do you guys bother or just hope it doesnt happen?
