Hoping I can get help from you... So thank you in advance

I am moving house and have a tricky situation now, unless I do drilling and cross the cable (want to avoid ) I will not have my PC connected to internet by cable. Because of that I am thinking on which solutions I could have for 2 cenários, one with the pc in the same room of the moden and the other one floor distance.

My internet will be 500MB, my motherboard is
ASRock B650M PG Riptide (no WiFi) and I do internet gaming with strategy games

So I made some searching and two possibilities appeared, a WiFi USB adapter or a powerline.

So my questions is if any WiFi USB adapter will work on my PC and if this is this acceptable for gaming.

Does the powerline work better or if it works at all? I mean by connecting ethernet cable from modem to the powerline and on his 2nd device to my PC?

So my humble request is what you suggest? And if you have some models suggestions as well.

WiFi usb adapter are terrible, I would advise you avoid.

However you can get a WiFi add-in card this is a good one imo

Although hard wired is best still WiFi these days can be almost as good, I run my pc via WiFi and high speed internet connection and it seems to work just fine playing games like Forza
