I am starting my first career job on monday and I think it is best if I was to take in some food from home. I already have my first meal sorted but I require some ideas for my second meal within work.

I can take anything really, looking for a decent range of carbs / protein / fat as it will be my pre-gym meal. I have food containers of lots of shapes and sizes so can mix and match.

Any one here got some good ideas of nice food I could take into work?

Chili!

Spag bol!

Curry!

Stir fry!

That's me out of ideas.

:edit: You could make up some fajitas and bring them in. Nom nom nom nom.

You failed to specify what kitchen (cooking/reheating/refridgeration) equipment you have available to you at your work, so going on the info in the OP you could do...

Pretty much ANYTHING?

Sandwiches/tortilla wraps, reheated rice/noodle dishes, roast dinners, full english, beans on toast, pot noodles, battered mars bars?

How about a bit of a clue? Help us out here. ;)

I'd go with one of the bold ones. You can make it in large batches and then freeze it in individual portions.

That sounds yummy!

Not too sure on the specifics of the kitchen ware, but I assume the basics like sink, fridge, microwave and a kettle.

Liking the chilli idea, may have to make something up later on :D just aslong as its not my usual really hot and spicy stuff that gives me the sweats heh..

Go for bulk stuff like chilli, spag bol, thick stews, curries, pasta dishes etc.

Could also do something like home made kebabs (wholemeal pita, homemade herbed/spiced chicken, salad and any sauce you want).

Something different to just sandwiches.
