Figured this was the place to ask, doesn't really fit into any more specific forum.
I'm looking to use an old, spare PC I have as a media centre connected to the living room TV. The uses are going to be two-fold; a media device for watching 4k HDR movies and a game streaming device, connected to my main PC via ethernet for Steam Link/GeForce Now network streaming of the game running on my main rig hardware.
Any suggestions for setup? I'd ideally like the media streaming to effectively work in the background with apps to access from the Andorid TV and Android tablets around the house, as well as the main TV which is running LG WebOS, so it sounds like a Plex server will handle that?
I'm just looking for the most cost-effective way to get it running without any additional expenditure. Any and all advice is appreciated!
