Home movie video editing advice.

Hi guys

I have recently bought a compact camera that takes 1080p videos as QuickTime .mov files. I have an ASUS transformer, a Windows 7 Pc and an iPhone. My relatives have acces to Android tablets or PC's.

Could anyone recommend software to change the format of the movie to something the tablets will play without too much hassle and resize the movies to make them easier email.

I have used Photoshop elements 7 for basic manipulation of photos but this doesn't do movies.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Doing a quick search of a well known sells everything retailer Sony Vegas Studio Platinum HD seemed like a likely inexpensive possibility.

Would anyone care to comment.

Vegas is great but I've only used Pro, not Studio. Will be your best option for the price though.
