Hi guys.

I thought I was particularly savvy when coming to working my way around a pc but this has got me beat all ends up and I'm wondering if someone can help.

I have my media pc in the living room working away just fine but I have recently bought a new tv for the dining room.

Its internet ready ( Sony Bravia ) and I was wondering how do I stream to it ftom my media pc.

Ive tried allsorts and getting no where fast!!

Does anybody have a link to setting up a home network for example?

Thanks in advance, if ive not been particularly clear with my problem please say and I will explain some more

Personally I use Serviio on my media server, which streams via DLNA to my TV.

I'm assuming the server and TV are both on the network and you just want the method of watching?

I use Plex, most TV's now can install that app also.

Install Plex on your Media PC, let it scan your library's then load Plex on your TV and it will "just work"......Hopefully ;)

I've used both serviio and plex, both are very good at what they do but I currently use plex even for dlna streaming (there's on option to enable it) because it also leaves the option of using the plex app available for those that support it.

I can't recommend Plex enough. I have Plex players in 6 rooms of my house as well as 2 in relations houses all streaming from my server.
