Thought I'd ask this quick question whilst it's quiet in work

3 pc's in the house, all running XP. Drives are shared out to appear in My Network Places. 2 Pc's can see the 1 Pc, but this one PC cannot see the other 2pc's hard drives.

All pc's can PING each other with no packet loss.
All accounts are ADMIN.
ZoneAlarm firewall on all pc's.. All in Same Zones. Doesnt matter if ZA is on or off.

I'm a bit lost :( Any ideas guys?

try to browse directly to the IP address

\\192.168.100.15\c$

\\192.168.100.15\shares\movies

etc

also you will need to create accounts on the computers

what i normaly do is setup an account called files with password files

then when connecting to the ip i use the files files login,

you have to add the files account on the shares under security tab on the folder properties.

you have to add the files account on the shares under security tab on the folder properties.

If ths security tab is missing, you need to disable simple file sharing from windows explorer > tools > folder options > view > scroll to bottom of list and untick the box.
