ok, ive set up a wee home network to share files and music etc between me and my house mates.
the server pc is in my room along my my own personal pc which are both hardwired to the router. i can connect to the mini network and shared folders etc with the server pc. however last nite one of my house mates arrived back, so i thought id set it up for him too (hes connected wirelessly). but what ever i try i cannot seem to get his pc to find the shared folders. the other 2 computers can access his shared folder no problem but he cant find the server.
any ideas and help.
his pc is a compaq pile of trash runnin windows xp home
server is running windows xp home (dont have a copy of pro)
my pc dual boots ubuntu & xp home
could the problem be that it xp home version?
