I work from home 2 to 3 days a week and my current insurance needs to be renewed. The insurance broker has said that they are having trouble finding cover for me.

Does anyone here have a home office for a business that is a Ltd company that has cover for their own equipment and occasionally customer equipment.

If so can you tell me who you got the cover through please.

Note that some of the options are not flexible and you may have to pay more than you need.

If you run a mail order co. and have stock then that would require a certain level of cover, but if you run a web design co. at home of which there is no stock and no cash you may find that some policies still insist you have triple locks, safety glass, safe, rotweillers etc!

Check out your own house insurance too as you may find you are already covered for desktops and laptops. It's just the employers liabailty you would then need.
