Home plug issue

Hi,

I have been upgraded to Sky fibre today, so new router and modem.

Since the upgrade, my sons pc which is connected through home plugs isn't getting a connection.

Where the homeplugs connect on the router, it should light up, eg 4 for the 4th port, but nothing as though it doesn't see it.

Any suggestions please?

Have you tried different ports on the router?

Try reset the homeplugs? Run the software/CD again that came with them?

have you tried re-synching the home plugs?

push the button on both of them so they synch with each other.

Frogot to update this, I rebooted the router then it detected the homplugs.

Synced them up and they are working fine.

Reboots are the first thing you do when issues occur. These probably solve about 70% of problems.
