Home Plugs and New House

Long time lurker finally asking a question.

I've got a couple of Netgear Home Plugs which worked a treat in my old house which was a new build.

I've moved to another new build and now the same plugs cannot maintain a stable connection and always seem to lose each other.

They're plugged into a socket on their own rather than a multi way adapter as this was a problem in the old house.

Any suggestions on how to get around this? Anyone else had a similar problem?

We are having issues with the downstairs sockets but that is a power loss without the circuit tripping and doesn't happen when the home plugs stop.

Have had to switch to WiFi

Quite likely this.

Can you test the powerlines on the same floor, or even possibly the same room to see if there's any difference.

You might be able to get them to work on the same floor but not across floors.

Also if you've bought the house, why not run some network cables?

The circuits are on separate fuses, got a feeling this is definitely the issue then.

Would love to run some ethernet but not sure the Mrs would be happy for me to poke some holes in the walls
