Hi everyone,

Ok, this is is going to be a little awkward as I'm starting this thread prematurely maybe, as I don't have any specifics about the equipment being used right now.

The objective - is that he can connect to his P.C via the wifi connection provided by his security system to the wifi provided by his normal VMedia supplied wifi router and thus, onto his P.C.

My friends set up - is a stand alone security system that is able to record his cameras (using HDD provided in the unit) and he CAN connect it to the T.V in real time - The problem is his connectivity to the P.C wont let him view anything at all (not even real time), he has followed the instructions but he still can't get it working.

Can anyone suggest any obvious reasons why this might be?

I accept this is limited info ATM but just maybe someone can shed a light on this. Any info needed to solve this will be updated ASAP.

Okay - I now know the make of the security system SNT (SDVR04) Digital video recorder.
I'm looking for someone who might know any reason why after following the instructions it just says 'contact your network service provider'. Obviously the network is nothing to do with the ISP (VM).

Has anyone had any dealings with configuring one of these types of security devices that might be able to shed some light?

Regards
