Looking for some advice on a replacement Windows Home Server machine for compatibility with WHS2011. Don't really want to spend more than £500
I would like it to run as silent & cool as possible, while still having the ability to do the odd bit of transcoding of SD files. Also think I want RAID5 to get around MS removing Drive Extender. Motherboard to have as many SATA ports as possible. Came up with this so far:
Already have a simple video card and a case, but would need a PSU and better CPU cooler on top of that.
Anyone with a better spec or ideas appreciated.
