Im moving house soon and doing major renovations. Im looking for any advice on server systems that can be controlled remotely either by wireless or wired.

Ideally would like speakers in all the major rooms mounted in the ceiling and either wall pads or a remote to control them. Also if possible to be able to control TV/SKY HD through system.

If such a thing exists any advice would be appreciated.

XBMC is capable of doing this a bit of work is required to do it however

either through an iPhone or android app

and now on iPad also

Sort of what i had in mind, but didnt want something that was cobbled together on the net. Ideally wanted a product?
