Myself and a friend are both graduates who make websites and web apps. We end up spending a fair amount on personal hosting and also get clients to buy there hosting.
Im starting to think it might work out well to host the sites ourselves and get the clients to pay us.
Im looking for options to do this. Does anyone have any experience on how to do this? I have an old PC at home that I though about making into a web server although its quite out dated and not spec'd well. My next two option where to either buy a small home server like the ones sold on this site Here
or to buy a big server and hire a rack space.
We dont have a massive amount of money and I do realise that some of the options are very different in cost.
I would just like some opinions on the matter.
