Currently we have a bt home hub (horrible thing) downstairs with 2 computers connected wired and 3 laptops connectred wirelessly, but we have just extended the house upwards, so the plan is to move the home hub into the roof (my new bedroom) where i will connect via a wire and then have 3 laptops and 1 pc connect wirelessly. the only problem is the distance i dont think that the people are the very bottom of the house will get a very good wireless signal. would it be best to buy a wireless N modem/router and then network cards for other laptop/pc or get a wireless access point and put that downstairs so that the computers downstairs would get better reception, and if so what the best one to get and the best way of setting it up!

hope that makes sense!

Thanks
