Homefront add to steam?

Very quick question, can a retail version of homefront be added to Steam and patched through steam etc?

Just wondereing whether to get it halfprice on steam this evening, if I can get it cheaper on disc (which I can) and ad it to steam then I'll do that, if not I'll buy it on steam direct.

Any help much appreciated

Yes, it can as it is a Steamworks title.

Hoorah, I'll pick up a nice cheap copy, I know it's supposed to be a bit rubbishbut I do like the idea of the setting.
