Homehub dyndns problem

I am trying to enter the details of a dyndns account into a homehub (2.0 I think, firmware is 8.1.h.J) but for some reason whenever I click apply it changes the hostname from domain.dyndns.org to domain. Then when I check the event logs there is a malformed hostname error. Everything I have read on the net suggest the format for the hostname should be domain.dyndns.org not domain.

Any ideas?

I just port forwarded the correct ports and ran the no-ip client when I was trying to do it...the inbuilt config just never worked...

Cheers I have done exactly that, I just believe that the inbuilt function on the homehub is broken its really pathetic.
