So I've got the choice for cheap between the two UPS's as shown above in the subject. I run a number of Dell Servers (R310, 410 and a 710) as well as a couple of supermicro; these run vsphere 6 predominately except the R310 is running Server 2012 R2 essentials.
If you had the option of either of these two UPS's which one would you choose? I'm looking for a way to smooth out the irregular power that occasionally cuases the hosts to restart, allow for a cascaded shut down in case of power loss while keeping the storage server and R310 running (TV server on R310 records directly to storage server) until the UPS is low on power and then carefully shut the rest down while keeping the router up for as long as possible for our VOIP line.
Thoughts and comments are most welcome.
