Its my nans birthday at the end of the month and im thinking of doing a portrait of me and my bro for her gift as the one she has of us is about 10 year old just im not sure what i could use as a blank screen for behind us. im thinking of using just a white bed sheet or something like that pinned on a wall but is white the best colour to use or will it be poo. Any tips guys as its not a form of photography ive covered

Your best bet is to just stick the sheet up and find out :) Its very much down to your personal taste. Personally I think that white looks professional, but I doubt everyone feels the same :)

If you can get some depth of field so the sheet isn't in focus so much that will probably help disguise the background, dunno what camera your using though.
