Homepage in new tab

anyone know how to load my homepage straight away when i open a new tab in internet explorer

i tryed the normal way of Tools>internet options>(tabs)Settings>open home page for....

but this didn't work so im guessing there will be some kind of registy fix for this?

Also if you want this functionality in FireFox you will need to download the New Tab Homepage addon. I think it should be built in to FireFox really, or at least configurable by about:config.
 
Once you tick the 'Open home page for the new tab' setting, when you click onto a new tab page, you need to tick the tickbox near the bottom, something like 'Never show' or 'Do not show'. Then next time it will load your homepage.

YES :D that worked, no complex reg option after all :)
