My dad has 3 or 4 200mb speed homeplugs in his house which have always worked fine with his rubbishy 2-meg internet connection.

The thing is, he's upgrading to a fibre connection soon and is anticipating a bump in speed up somewhere around 35-meg - will the 200mb plugs be adequate for the new speed internet or do we need to be looking for higher rated ones?

For that sort of speed line you should be ok. It all depends on the traffic you send around the house and how good the wiring is.

If you are sending a coulpe of HD movies around the house then moving up to 500mb or above kits might improve this. Network cable is always the best to go if possible. It all depends on your requirement.
