Homeplug advice please

Looking at purchasing this to link my Sky BB Router (sited connected direct to my Sky HD box in the front room), to my PC at the back of the house.

Are they any good? Is there something else that I should consider?

Should do nicely, but naturally to actually run some Cat-5e / Cat-6 network cable is preferable.

In the absence of that, homeplugs are the way forward

Using netgear home plugs here with my sky box, running grand and connecting to router at twice the speed of normal G wireless rates. No drop outs, had them in since before Christmas and so far so good.

Ive found them good for general Internet surfing. Any more than that and I found them unstable.

A++ recommended here, have no problem streaming 1080p media via mine, 802.1g wifi could only manage MP3's lol

Also bought some homeplugs, steaming HD content is fine!

Thanks I'll give them a try.
Running a cable from the front of the house to the extension on the rear is possible but quite difficult.

Totally forgot about these products, since moving the pc from the lounge into the study and having to go wireless I have been unable to stream HD content to the ps3.

Think I may invest in these if they are up to the job
