Homeplug issues

Hi there

I recently bought some Netgear Powerline Network Bridges (XE102) for a house that was having trouble with wireless connectivity. I have plugged them in and all the lights are on (power, ethernet and homeplug) but I get the "automatic private address" when the network is connected. Am I right in thinking this maybe because I am using the 192.168.1.* subnet and the homeplug might be on something else or have I missed something obvious out?

Have you loaded up the software that comes with the adaptors? Normally you need to run this to enable them.

Silly question, but they are connected to your router? If so, does that use DHCP?
