I have a Virgin Media SH 2 with Gigabit ports and have just bought a pair of powerline network adaptors and realised they are 10/100 500Mbps one's and not Gigabit powerline's. Does this matter? Or should I need Gigabit powerline plug's?

They seem to be quite nippy as they are though - TP-LINK AV500's.

If they're quick for what you use them for then keep them.

If you find you're streaming HD, copying huge files and saturating them, then upgrade.

Depends what your doing and how fast your internet is, do a speed test.

Should be ok though

Nothing to do with Internet speed, it's internal.

Only benefit of gigabit speeds is moving large files between your devices.

500mb is plenty.
