Homeplug return query

Wasn't sure where to put this as its a general query. Do returns departments check for flashed firmware when you send it back under dsr? I've flashed it to see if it'd improve performance but it didn't and want to send it back,

They're Devolo homeplugs and not sure I can flash them back to the original firmware.

Any ideas?

If it's their own firmware, it shouldn't matter. If it's some third party there may be an issue.

Yeh it's their own official firmware.
