Hi guys,
Thanks in advance for your replies.
Due to the ackward configuration of my house and before I spend the £60, I wanted to know if it was possible to connect a router to another router through a homeplug network. Both have wifi but would be some distance from each other and would be set on different channels.
In other terms I wanted to have a wired network for the family PC in the front room (which requires 3 LAN plugs) and another in a distant section of the house for my professional stuff which also requires 3 LAN plugs in the router.
Is there any particular things I should know about such a config?
Thanks ...

There's no reason why it shouldn't work. The fact that you're using Powerline adapters should be transparent to the rest of the network.

  1. Issue the second router a LAN IP address that's outside the DHCP range of the first router.
  2. Disable the second router's DHCP server.
  3. Connect the two routers together using LAN side ports on both of them.
