I have a pair of netgear TP Link AV200 Powerline Adapters with pass through (Model TL-PA251), which I use to sling internet connection to the garage.
What would be the easiest way to add wifi.
My wifi signal from the house is rubbish in the garage and want something a bit faster and more stable.

I wondered if I can replace the homeplug in the garage to one that has wifi and also an ethernet port but not sure if they even make them. I've looked on netgear site but not sure what I'm looking at really...it looks to me that the wifi homeplugs don't seem to offer an ethernet port also.

Best/cheapest way please.

Doesn't need to be fast either, 200mbps is fine.

They usually do have Ethernet ports, but judging from the Netgear website you can only buy them in a pack with a regular powerline adapter also.

It would make no difference what service you're using. And as the throughput of the home plug is probably under 100Mb anyway you're not really going to be bottle necked my using the old router.

Anyone have a good link to some help on using an old router for this purpose?
I remember reading something a while ago that stated if you use it as an access point then you can't use the ethernet ports also....don't know if that's true or not as I know very little about this kind of thing.
