Does anybody on here play Heroes of Newerth? If so what are your opinions of it. Whats your PSR, KD, fave heroes, stats in general etc?

Im around 1650, 1:1 KD, pretty average player.

But lately I've been finding it pretty boring with only a few heroes actually enjoyable to play. It also makes me rage quite a lot.
 
it has the worst worst gaming community to ever exist

I do play it some times but the games go on for way too long some times

I use to play it quite a bit, more so through its beta. Been pretty occupied with SC2 lately though.

Favourite hero is probably devourer. Blind hooks are brilliant :D
 
i got it like 3 days ago and have played about 20 matches! the community just rage ya and the item shop is just a pain to get around and understand, i find LoL a lot more fun and easier to understand with a lot more skill.
 
I think the general consensus is that lol is easier and less competitive, but once u get into hon i think its a good game. But yeh i know what u mean about the community, lots of ragers!

Please dont go there just because the item shop for hon is different from lol doesnt make it bad, infact it takes less actions to buy the items you want compared to lol.
Also what do you mean by "a lot more skill"?

Oh i misread that bit.... from what I've heard its the complete opposite with hon taking more skill. I think that it is easy to be 'good' at lol, whereas I only consider myself reasonable at hon, and I've been playing for about a year on and off. Also if u ever watch any of the top hon players, some of the stuff they do is insanely good.
 
I play HoN and I'm pretty bad. I normally play with mates though so I have 50/50 win%

It's a good game and people rage because you rely so heavily on your team. If someone is terrible then they're making you look worse and if you don't have friends who play the game and know what to do I can see you hating the game quite easily :P

The HoN shop isn't terrible, once you know how to navigate it it's easy enough to use.
Sucks how there are always OP/broken heroes in the game tho :/
 
i play hon now up to 1650. finally


I used to be 1700+ in beta with my team but they all went to SC2 beta and i was left playing hon on my own and lost all my PSR. Traditionally i play support warding and babysitting but supporting pubbers that can't carry made me cry, so i dont play a lot now.

I've started only joining no AB games where there are 5 v 4 and i fill the last spot, which has helped :)

Whats ur hon account?
 
I know its a lame reason to boycott a game but i refuse to play HoN because it has a lame name. Newerth? It needs as lolcat going 'ai c wat u did ther'.

League of Legends i can get behind.

...but when you factor in that Newerth is related to the awesome Savage game (the first Savage, not the second), all is forgiven ;)
