I sold my Civic Type-R about a month ago due to financial circumstances. Said circumstances should be resolved soon so Im spending a lot of time considering what I'd like next. Ive looked at Evo FQ300s, Impreza STi Blob-eyes, Impreza P1s and cheap BMW E46 M3s.

Ive narrowed it down to either an Impreza P1 or a more modern, albeit uglier, heavier and slower STI Blob-eye. However, Ive spotted a few white DC5s recently, and for the money, they seem rather well equipped.

Im just wondering if anyone has any first hand experience of the DC5s? Im assuming its the same block as my CTR? 220BHP? Im guessing with it being a heavier car its not as hot as accelerating as my CTR would have been? I was wanting something faster than my CTR, but Recaros, Xenons, A/C, metal pedals etc all make the DC5 seem like good value?

Scoob or DC5? Discuss :D

Thanks Gaygle. It was an EP3 (2004 facelift) I had. Im sick of naturally aspirated and want to give some turbo fun a try, Scoob it is I think :p

Theyre well equipped compared to my Civic, I didnt even have aircon :D

I initially liked the VTEC engine, but I sometimes felt like I had to kick its end in just to get that torque I wanted. Up until 6000RPM, before the cam switched over, I personally felt the CTR was overrated and lacked a lot of torque. You only get 2000RPM of fun in each gear :D
