I accidently broke mine :( It's the fob with one single button in the middle with a round honda logo on the rear sde of the housing, the LED can be seen immediately above the button when held upright. It's the 1994> housing iirc.

The fob works perfectly, I'm using the innards in a diy fob housing bought from an electronics store but it is inevitably bulky so makes my pockets look bulgy when "in the field ¬_¬"

If anyone has a spare fob then I would appreciate the housing via snail mail, I would pay some sensible moneys of course.

I must be doing something wrong because I cannot find any that match the style I need on ebay :/

I dont have a pic to the old ones case as it was too broke to make anything out of :/

What's HGF?

the housing is just a rectangular slimish housing with buttn in the middle really!

HGF = Head Gasket Failure, i presume. It's one of the stupid things that is being said every time Rover is mentioned on this forum.

Does it look anything like this? Just took these for you, so others know what to look for as you've got rid of yours. Actually, if you can find some, I'll want a couple too, my other fob casings are broken too!

I got a new one for my 306 from the peugeot dealership in town, a wholeseome £4 so they shouldn't be expensive even if you got a new one from honda? Pug carried them on the shelf too?
