tried to cut back on a lot of things to keep the price down, idealy want to keep below £800 inc. postage.

I have 2 x 6850's to go in the rig and all the peripherals.

Any final comments on how good/bad this may be? i tried to match colours as per the trend atm lol.

I play Football Manager a lot and Crysis at the moment and want to play Skyrim again too he he.

Should this be enough to ensure the GPU's are the bottleneck so in a year i can get the new flagship beast and slot it straight in for a couple more years gaming fun?

Thanks for your help guys

damn i wanna use crossfire 6850's for a while till the new amd gpu's come out... so i need a better psu and mono?

The motherboard does support Crossfire but its at 16X/4X for the two slots respectively, a better board will do Crossfire at say 8X/8X so each card gets equal bandwidth.

Then as its 8X for both slots you then get Nvidia SLI certification also as they don't validate on anything less than a 8X slot.

The cheapest Gigabyte Z87 board that does this is the Z87X-D3H.

thanks stupid, changed the mobo for the one you suggested. and added a be quiet heatsink.

whats wrong with the psu though? apart from the brand? lol

Never skimp on the PSU as its the heart of the system, that Battle PSU is an unknown quantity and probably made by a awful OEM.

Look at Antec, Seasonic, Corsair or XFX for a good 750/850W PSU.

Just so you know..if you spending that much on a board then the gigs Z87X-OC is far superior to the Hero.

But you may not like the colour..Team group do some matching orange RAM that may help.

There is nothing wrong with Asrock at all, Unfortunately they aren't talked about much and not a huge amount of people have tried them so they don't get recommended. It's all a bit closed minded to be fair, Go by reviews of boards really, All companies have made a crappy board that should be avoided.
