Hi all,
I am getting married next year in May, we have the place booked, music etc all sorted just the fine details to figure out.
However, we are stuck for honeymoon ideas.
There are the usual places, hot beaches etc. The other half wants to go for 2 weeks and we would both prefer USA or Canada, or both. For me, 2 weeks stuck on a beach somewhere would end with me chewing through my wrists just to end the bordem.
More than 2 hours sitting on a beach feeling myself cook is as close to hell as you could get!
A few ideas I have had that she likes:
Driving holiday - drive across canada/USA for a few weeks stopping in different locations.
Maybe something like a ranch break, like the one here. Not sure a working holiday would be appreciated by the other half even if the horse riding a scenery would be.
So, any suggestions?
Preferably, great views, quite yet with stuff to keep you busy as well.
Before anyone starts, we will have been together 12 years BEFORE we get married (and we are only 26), the whole "honeymoon = sex and lounging about" is great, but there is more to us than just that
