Hello. I know that people can't tell me where to buy things from, but I am just asking for help as to whether this setup is likely to work? I am most worried about the power supply.

Spec:
Hoojum cubit 3
Commell LV-677DC
intel T2300 (or slightly better like T2500 if I can get it cheap)
2x 1GB ddr667
Casetronic / FSG 19V 120W PSU
Optiarc AD-7630A
80GB 2.5" IDE HDD

and 7600GT or x1650 if you think it would run off the power...

Will this work or am I being totally stupid.

Please help. I want to start this, but I don't feel like buying stuff and then finding that something isn't going to work. Thanks

Thanks for the help Tosk.
Rang up the only supplier left of hoojum's to find out if they still had any as I had read elsewhere that they had ran out a while back and no update their site. They told me they have less than 10 split between all the expensive horrid colour ones! Damn them, I'm not playing £100+ for a case that I would have to spray straight away.

So plans are on hold for a bit until I can find someone selling one elsewhere. Though got the motherboard and CPU sitting here on my desk. Can't believe this. Pain in arse!

Anyone know of anyone with a hoojum cubit 3 who wants to sell it?

unfortunately I have aquired these parts from other places than retailers that would accept returns. Its just a batter of the waiting game now.... :D

Thats what happens to a site that is still running when the company went bankrupt a few years back. Full of dead links. Think they were just a bit before their time. If they were around now, im sure they'd make more, providing their prices were slightly less than £100 :D

Anyone know if a 3470 is any good for SFF?? Been looking around for graphics cards now as rest of rig is on its way.

Was looking at nvidia 8600GT's as they are pretty good for money, but little worried about the power consumption.

I have since started looking at what ATI had to offer and remembered they supported 5.1 over their HDMI which would be great and the 3650 looked pretty good, but I have a bad feeling it might need a little too much power for my rig....

I have 120Watt brick AC - DC adapter. CPU uses 34W then then will have 1 hdd, 1 dvdrw and 2 sticks of ram running off it aswell. So I'm looking for no more than 40 Watt max and that would be pushing it I think. Any ideas?

The other idea I had was to buy a card that supported additional molex power and then putting another brick in just for the graphics.

ideas?
