I have the Samsung S27A950D and the MSi 7970 lightning and I recently realized my monitor had a display port input on it.
I bought this cable from overclockers http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-089-OK
and hooked them up today but in the control panel it gives me options on 3 really low res settings that my monitor doesn't seem to do so therefore there's no output.
I know this because I also have my tv hooked up to the card so via the tv can see the desktop and the options it gives me for the monitor.
Only had a quick play so I could have easily missed something but it should be plug and play right?
