I have just been to take my daughter to A&E because she hurt her finger at the kennels where she works. We were in and out in under 30 minutes including having and x-ray and her finger dressed. It is broken.

Do you think this is a record?

Not bad at all. Took 8 hours when I did my knee in. Spent most of that in extreme pain waiting trying to get rid of some drugged up hooker that kept pestering me. I'd have been happy with some decent magazines to be honest :D

Did you tell her your name was Jonny or Jonny69? ;)

Aye kiddies get prioritised I think, certainly my experience when crocked at rugby I was always sitting around while other people got sorted out, especially kids getting fast-forwarded, usually by over-worried parents pestering the poor attendant nurse :p Can't complain really though, only a bit of pain, brought on myself as well by the daft sport I choose to play :p

Don't tell the government, they'll use it as an excuse to cut funding.

She's hardly a kiddie she's 19 :D The place was just like a ghost town.

I would say so. The last time I went I had to wait over an hour to be seen to, they then took a blood and **** sample, they couldn't find anything wrong with me though apart from abnormal blood pressure and rate.

Nymins beat me to TTIUWP :p

Put up a pic of her and if she complains, say it was a pic of something else in the photo like a plant, and she just happened to be in it posing :D

When I was little my mum got me to pretend to cry whenever we wen't to A&E and say i felt "dizzy" when I got examined by the doctor. Always got us through the front of A&E in 15minutes :)

I'm quite lucky, whenever I've been to A&E in the last few years it's always serious enough to get straight through (asthma attacks, assault, burst artuiary etc)

Hooray for the wonderful NHS, I had to wait 18 months for braces, got lied to on numerous occasions by various consultants and a number of bad decisions has ensured I am still wearing braces far beyond the time quoted to me. Furthermore there seems to be no end in sight with respect to when I shall have my operation which I have been waiting for, for the past 3 years. But yes, a broken finger was dealt with so hooray.
