Well, after months of deliberating and hanging about I've finally put my money where my mouth is and clicked the "buy" button :D Now it's just a matter of waiting for parts to arrive. I've posted a few threads before asking help with different things, so thanks to everyone who gave advice.

Final Spec is:

i5 2500K
Asus p8p67-M
4GB OCZ Special Ops
Gainward GTX560 Phantom 1GB
Corsair CX600
NZXT Vulcan Micro atx
BenQ 21.5" LED 1080p monitor

The total came to about £650 plus shipping. Not bad!

I'm going to run it on stock cooling and hold back on the overclocking until I can afford an all in one watercooler, either a corsair h60 or an antec kuhler. Even with out the overclock this should be a HUGE upgrade for me, I'm currently using a rubbish old 1.6ghz dual core celeron laptop! I tried playing Starcraft II... managed 3fps on 800x600

I'll post plenty of piccys once everything arrives :D

im sorry if im too late, or if you already heard this from some other people around here,

i have p8p67-m myself, if i was you i would choose a non asus board or least go for asus pro version,

you can not control directly cpu voltage using asus p8p67-m motherboard,

i managed to get mine to 4.4ghz stable fiddling about with it but i think i could have got higher overclock if i had more options i could adjust.

4.4ghz is respectable overclock if you are happy with that then carry on

trying not to be too negative

if ye decide to go with/cant change p8p67-m i try dig up the links i used to OC mine with.

Ah man thats grim... I would be happy with 4.4ghz, but I would have liked the extra headroom. After all I'm upgrading from a colossally slow laptop haha. I've been waiting so long to order everything I don't want the hassle of RMA'ing the motherboard, I'll stick with this one. Perhaps some good Z68 m-atx boards will show up.

Yeah if you have any links that would be great! Once I have built everything I might need some help if the overclocking is so different to normal sandybridge overclocking.
