but such a brilliant game mode.

thought i would just share the fun i had lol

It's good to start with but soon gets boring.
I dread having to do the new horde achievements for new map packs now!

Don't do them then ;)

I agree with the OP, it's a decent variation from the normal gam types.

took us ages to get the first 10 wave achievement as we was just fart arsing about so much lol, was a good giggle though. "ahhhhh, cat things behind you!!!! IN COMING MORTAR!!!" <freshage splats from mortar fire> "cheers thom..."

hehe, ags

5 player hoard on hardcore/insane on River is awesome, shacked up in one of the houses.

Guy on each of the pillars, one at the window. 2 floating for revivals and grinder pickups.

:D

So many wasted hours!

Edit - oh and frequent run outs to the other house to get grenades to tag up boomers/walls.

omg, my mate was awful at that!

"im just going to grab that ammo box... running low.... only got couple hundred rounds left"
<sigh>
"what?"
"just watch out for that.... oh, too late"
"dude, come save me"
<sigh>

Yep, that's normally me. :D I once misjudged just how close that Flame Boomer was... as my mate torque bowed it from the top of the house.

Haven't played it for a few months, but when I first got Gears I played horde for ages - good fun, especially with people you know. The public online matches sometimes go on too long, went on for a "quick" public horde match one time and ended up doing all 50 levels :p
