Didn't know what section to put this into (graphics cards? home cinema? monitors? general discussion?) so decided to stick it in here!
Basically i have a dual setup with a 20" viewsonic monitor and a 32" samsung TV in clone mode (same image on both screens). I have had it setup like this for few years with no problems.
Recently i upgraded my gfx card to a gtx460, and since doing this i have noticed a horizontal flickering line down my tv when playing movies/tv shows from pc to tv. It's like a single line that moves slowly from top of screen to bottom then repeats. It doesn't happen when at desktop/windows/browsing etc, only when playing media (films/tv shows).
It also doesn't happen when using my ps3 on my tv, or when watching cable tv, only when the tv is in pc mode. I have tried 4 different media players to make sure it wasn't a problem with windows media player.
I'm seriously confused. The fact it only happens on my tv and not the monitor would suggest it's a problem with the tv. But then the fact it doesn't happen when using ps3/cable tv/and at desktop/browsing etc would suggest the tv doesn't have an inherent problem.

Is there any possible setting that would cause a problem playing back media that wouldn't be evident at desktop etc?
Cheers for any thoughts/input.
