Horizontal Reservoir

I'm looking to fit a tube res in a horizontal position on the base of the case. Ideally, a pump/res combo.

Is this feasible, and is there anything I should be looking to avoid (schoolboy errors).

Yes, but you'd need the pump outlet at the lowest point when horizontal and have it upright when filling, it's easier with a seperate pump.

I could do a separate pump but it would be mounted right next to the res at the same height, so maybe no advantage?

As long as the pump is not drawing air it does not really matter where it is, but you will need to have the tube vertical to fill and bleed.

I've done it in my air 540 mate. It looks great but it was a pain to bleed to get it totally full.

Thanks anyway Chris, but I think I'll go for vertical mount. Less pain!
