Hello all.

I have downgraded my PC internals to a R7 260X, Athlon X4 845 and Biostar FM2+ MOBO. The PSU and case are the same. The PSU is a decent Bitfenix Gold 650W from OCUK.

Now when I play Quakelive I am getting some horizontal ripples along the screen. It is very very subtle and difficult to spot but I can notice it, usually when I move horizontally across the screen. It also doesn't seem as sharp visually as my old setup almost like there is a bit of blur. I have tried numerous different drivers with no change. The only other thing I can think of is going back to Windows 1809 which is what my old system was running. I've read that Windows 1903 has really tanked some systems gaming-wise.

I am also not able to make my card run at 16x on the PCI-E slot even though Biostar say this is possible. I also get spiked reads on the GPU Load bar in GPU-Z (https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/gpu-z-load-spikes-with-r7-260.18868545/)

If I revert back to Windows 1809 and it is still the same I am tempted to return the card as I bought it from ebay. I seem to have no luck buying from ebay as I bought a passive 6770 years ago and that had an issue with it.
