Following on from the Draggin' Jeans thread my Hornee's arrived just now.

If I'm honnest I was expecting to have to send the 34's back due to having always struggled finding jeans that could accommodate my legs since I started lifting (weights) more seriously 2 to 3 years ago.

Upon opening the package I was pleased to find they were a very similar cut to my G-star jeans which have always fitted me well and give my thighs some room to breathe. Like wise the fit very similarly and I'm quite pleased with them. They're a medium thickness denim boarding more towards thin which is good, very slightly stiff but they will give with time. These were a regular in length measuring 32/33" on the inseam.

I can also confirm I had no problem getting them over my forcefield knee armour with a little room to spare and not cutting off bloody supply should I squat right down. Nowhere to place any hip armour though I guess you could just put it down the side of your boxers or inside some thermals.

Not so much 'Bruised Wash Blue' as almost black/grey/green never the less they are the slightly more stylish option available in comparison to other kevlar jeans available.

Button fly, nice depth to the front pockets with 2 on the rear.

These also went over my RST Tractech boots with room to spare, they were a little long but a seamstress won't have trouble shortening these.

I'll wear them tomorrow for my Mod 1 training and also my test on Sunday and will report back with how they perform when on the bike and hopefully not thundering down the road on the ground behind it.

Pictures otherwise this would be a crap review!

How much?

£115 delivered.

Wore them today and it's just like wearing any other jeans really, thumbs up. Was quite sunny today and my legs were the coolest part of me.

As for tucking them in I don't think it looks bad or several others of us including our instructors :p and the last thing I want is for them to catch on something etc.

They look pretty good compared to some I've seen. I may consider getting a pair to wear to work so I don't have keep stuffing an extra pair of jeans in my bag and change when i wear my leathers.

Sorry I have to agree with kipper though. Jeans always over boots! Unless you're female and they're very tight ;)

Never ever wear them tucked into boots - completely defeats the object of wearing cool looking clothes on a bike!

Leathers inside boots (they are deliberately tailored and cut short for it), everything else outside.

nice jeans though :)
