Horrible noise when moving mouse!

Whenever I move my mouse I get a horrible high pitched buzz from my computer. I have no idea where it's coming from. The strange thing is, the pitch changes depending on which monitor I have the mouse on. It's not the graphics card as I've tried 3 and all did the same thing.

It's driving me insane!
 
So many possible options as to where this is coming from. Usually either a GPU performing 2d accelerating (aka blittering) or the PSU.

Give a fiddle with your audio volume sliders and see if it makes a difference. Can sometimes be soundcard related feedback.

It's not coming from the speakers it's definatly coming from some hardware. It feels like it's been going on for ages, but I switched PSUs with my friend about a week ago and while it feels like longer, it may have started since then. I'll have to try my old one again I guess.
 
Hi, what make of mouse is it, wifi or Ps2, if its cable is, the cable right next to the speaker? it could be picking interference fron there, re-route the cable, it could be the same if your mouse is wifi picking up intrference from something try a PS/2 mouse see what happens.

as above poster says, this could be interference - spesh if its a wireless mouse :o

Hi, just a thought try installing the latest drivers fot all devices, generic ones are ok to get you to the desk top - but my monitor Syncmaster 2433 has its own drivers and my Logitech MX518 has its own as well, its worth a try. ;)
 
If the sound isnt coming from the speakers i wonder where the hell it is coming from, it sounds like it could be capacitor buzz, but i dont see how the mouse affects it, i would say maybe something to do with the gpu and the GUI mouse cursor etc
