HORRIBLE NZXT Service/No Replacement

When I first built my PC, I looked for a good PSU from a reputable company, that also had a long warranty, the NZXT HALE 82 750w was perfect. decent price and was happy with the performance.

Fast forward 20 months later, the PSU blows up, frying my motherboard which was replaced and is on the way (thanks to OCUK top notch as always )

When I opened a ticket for my Motherboard, the representative told me that the replacement has to go through NZXT and not them.

After MULTIPLE, AND I MEAN 10 + EMAILS I have not received ONE REPLY, AT ALL. NO UK SUPPORT ANYWHERE, NO CONTACT INFORMATION TO GET MY PROBLEM FIXED.

I am stuck here with a PSU that I thought had a 5 year warrenty and there is absoultley so way of it getting replaced, I will talk asap to the OCUK team to see if they could do anything on there behalf to either replace the PSU or get a contact from NZXT to replace it.
 
Sorry to hear that. Because of this, I don't expect you will hear anything from them annytime soon. NZXT should be avoided until they get things sorted. The only real way to get them to do anything would be if all the shops refused to stock their stuff as good as some of it may be.
 
I bought this because I actually wanted that 5 year warranty, I will have a talk with a OCUk representative or someone high up too see what they can do, they must know someone from NZXT to sort this out.

Worst thing is I cant afford a new psu, and will have to wait 2 months to get one xD. Oh well looks like I will be stuck with my backup pc for longer. It helps that its got a ssd inside so its fast
 
Did you buy the PSU from us? If so, we will sort it out for you.

I did get the PSU from overclockers, and will call up 5UB. Thanks mate, i CANT BELIEVE it every problem that I have had, you was the one resolving it, I remember you have helped me with my headset, mouse, Graphics card, motherboard and now this. Top bloke!!!
 
This gets me angry. The company is good and provides excellent products, but what lets it down is the fact that there is no uk support, that 5 year warrenty might as well go down the toilet. There must be a company out there that checks these things and fines the company

I am trying to get through to OCUK however I get the "please continue to hold" message over and over again, its like its stuck in a loop.

Calling first thing in the morning may take a bit longer due to being a busy period, but you will get through to someone, or alternatively just fire a webnote across and it will be answered later today. But calling is usually best, as it is dealt with directly. :)

Looking foward to my replacement, ALSO I am getting back into PC gaming (6 month break due to me not really into games + sold all my gaming parts)

will spend around 400 in the next 1-2 months. Which is the reason why I could not afford a PSU, but thats all good now. Cannot wait to get everything up and running again!! I am well excited !!!!

Awesome! I have spoken to NZXT so they are aware of this, as I know the guys quite well and they are extremely good when it comes to support, so I want to find out what went completely wrong here! :)
 
lol the fantastic NZXT service,

emailed them twice back in december. still waiting for a reply. thankfully sorted my issue out myself but certainly wouldn't use them for anything given the choice
 
This thread shows OCUK excellent Customer support again, Brings me a lot of confidence should i ever need to use there support network again. Used in past and was excellent :)
