my friend has a relatively new packard bell PC, and he's upgraded the ram to 2gig using a GEIL DDR Dual Channel Kit. But I guess I was stupid for thinking such a simple procedure such as upgrading the ram in this computer would be easy. It's all on and working now with all 2gb, but it's running at a cripplingly poor speed and the bios doesn't allow any settings to do with memory speed or timings to be viewed or even changed. Is there anything I can do with it?
