had to redownload the FAH client today and instead of the normal application I've ended up with some horrible web based interface...it looks like they made some changes to the client and introduced a web control for it.

I think I can turn it off by opening the application on my machine and changing one of the settings:

open-web-control: true (change it to false or remove it entirely?)

I changed it to 'false' m8. I assume it could also be simply deleted but I left it there in case they improved the web interface. Took a few tries to get it to stick through a restart but just kept changing it. I never liked the web interface either ;)

thanks, glad its not just me.

changed it to false and that did it, now i just need to get the gpu folding working again, it says its running with an unknown eta and stuck on 2%.

bah. shouldnt be this tricky

If AMD:
13.12 whql drivers are 100% stable. 14.1 betas are fine on single card machines (and give a 10% boost to your PPD). If you use either of these and it's still getting stuck then downclock the GPU a tad and try again.

What OS? I only have experience with AMD cards on win7.

in the end i just left it running and it picked itself up again. Back up and running now, though the WU's on the cpu are just pitiful. 2 hours for 1500 point (inc bonus).

Meh. It all helps in the scheme of things which is the real point :)
