Horse Fight!

How can one draw the line as to what species it's ok to pit together and which ones not? You could argue that they don't have to fight if they don't want to.

Whilst it's right to highlight it - I can't help thinking the Daily Mail are sensationalising it. All that emotive stuff at the top of the article, unnecessary.

I don't think it's right at all but I do think clv101 is right in the fact that it is over sensationalised, it's a clearly biased article. Having said that I can't see how any one in their right mind would try and justify it. Although barbequed horse might be quite nice, I could go to France for that, and those horses would be slain in a 'humane' way.

Whilst it might be difficult to draw a line you would struggle to support an argument that said the horses don't "have to" fight if they "don't want to".

It's an artificial situation created by creatures that should know better. It's not as if the horses might have a moment of clarity and settle their dispute with a game of draughts.

That's truly shocking! I can't believe people could be so barbaric. We claim to be better than animals but it's just not true in reality! :(
