Reasonably regularly my computer start to slow down dramatically, the mouse starts to jerk around and if you are playing any audio or video, it becomes really stuttery. I went into the resource monitor, and it seems it is the Host Process for Windows Services (svchost.exe) is using 60% or more of the CPU, completely slowing it down. When I terminate the process, the computer gets better again as the CPU usage goes down to under 10%. If you leave it an hour, it will be back up again.
Does anyone know a way to stop it from using up all the CPU power virtually stopping my computer from working?
